Hard truth: Faith can get you in the room with your goals, but only discipline can help you meet them.
James 2:26, KJV says: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Our faith and our actions have to work together to create the life we want. It’s not enough to believe God for it, He’s asking you to put a little skin in the game too.
Harnessing the power of discipline has been such a lightbulb moment for me. It can be both liberating and disappointing to realize that the only thing standing in your way is you. Trust me, I know from personal experience.
The good news is that we have a choice: keep hindering ourselves from God’s full glory or do the work to step into God’s will for you.
I know what I’m choosing!
Even through moments of uncertainty and doubt, I’m committing myself to discipline in this season. God, I am ready to Power UP!
