Hey Beautiful, Over the past few weeks, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting and journaling. Today I opened up Power Up and revisited Chapter 3: The Power of Pursuit. Little did I know I was in for a WORD! below, excerpt from page 23 of Power Up:
How do we go from dreaming our destiny to walking in it? The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 25:2 that, ‘it’s the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of Kings to search it out.’ When God speaks to our hearts about what He has called us to do, He doesn’t always reveal the end of the story.
Our responsibility is to believe and to pursue. My 2021 pursuit. This year, I took a huge leap of faith and launched my first book, Power Up: Releasing God’s Power into Your Life. When God reveals pieces of the picture and we take the time to pursue the rest it literally brings the ‘bliss of heaven’ into our lives!
Ooooh...but, God! This year, God showed me that I can do ALL things through him: write and minister to His people through a book, kick it with friends over drinks, lead prayer calls that call in His power, sell hair again to make you all feel beautiful inside and out. He's affirmed that when he directs and I pursue, I can do many things. And here’s the thing - you can too. When he leads and you follow, you can do many things. Remember that and hold that reminder close to your heart as you head into the weekend.
