We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

Updated: Sep 27, 2021

Let God lead.

Hey Beautiful,

I just came back from my daily walk and I wanted to drop in and share a message with you!

Many of us use walking as a means to an end, but the walks I take are intentional. They’ve become such a big part of my self-care journey. If I don’t do anything else, I get up and walk. As always, I invited God to walk beside me.

Today, he showed up like He always does.

I’ve had so much on my mind (and on my plate!) this week. Walking has really given me the clarity, guidance and answers to things I would have over thought if I were sitting still. A lot of times I feel like my physical walks are a symbol for the Power Up journey I’m on with God.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Sometimes we have to move forward in faith before we have all the answers. Trust that God is not only walking beside you, but forging the path ahead of you. When you arrive at the moment you’ve been overthinking, you’ll see that God has already made a way for you.

When we walk by faith and not by sight, we allow God to step in and create outcomes even better than we could have imagined. I pray that you trust God enough to take the next step, even when you can’t see the whole staircase.

Tomorrow on Conversations with Friends...

I’m chatting with my friend Dionna Avery. Dionna is a life coach, a baker, and cosmetologist. Jump on and hang with us! She has so much wisdom to share and I can’t wait for you to meet her.
